Creative Director of Upstage Arts

Creative Director Shelley Brownfield has been teaching Theatre Arts at League City Intermediate for the past 10 years, and has taught at Bays recently.  She runs a large and popular drama program and consistently leads her students to 1st place wins in UIL One Act Play competitions. She loves working with Upstage Arts because she believes that all students should have the chance to be exposed to the power of increased confidence, creativity and brain development that comes with Theatre Arts performance.

Shelley graduated from Clear Creek High School and attended Kilgore Jr. College performing as a Kilgore Rangerette.  From there she went on the The University of Texas at Austin where she earned her teaching credentials.
